Louis Vuitton Python Artsy

Filed under: LV — admin @ 3:07 am

Louis Vuitton may not be known for their small array of exotic handbags, but they should not be ignored. One of the most exciting parts of visiting our favorite Louis Vuitton boutique at the Bal Harbour shops in Miami is seeing what exotic bags they have on display. I have never owned one but I have always coveted them. And why wouldn’t I? Some of the most classic Louis Vuitton designs are re-vamped in exotic skin touches, adding an extra level of allure and luxury.

Right now the Louis Vuitton Python Artsy is luring me. Available in both gris and noir, the Artsy is a double threat because of its classic hobo shape and design.

When it comes to python skin, I prefer a monotone color rather than the natural look. It helps let the design speak for itself versus the skin trying to speak for the bag. Python skin is not everyone’s favorite exotic, and that is completely understandable. But Louis Vuitton uses a very high end skin that feels both durable and luxurious.

While the Louis Vuitton monogram at times is too logo-y for many, it is perfect on the Artsy. The iconic logo is stamped into the bag, which adds dimensionality with a classic touch. The only aspect I am concerned with is how long the shoulder drop is. A major pet peeve of mine is a bag that sits too snug on my shoulder, so I hope that the shoulder drop gives ample room.

Newly Released Dior Granville Handstitched Tote

Filed under: Other Brand — admin @ 3:42 am

Today when I browse the Dior official site, I found the newly released Dior Granville Collection. I am a person who are keen on kinds of replica designer handbags and I have been keeping eyes on Christian Dior handbags. As a part of Dior Fall collection, the Dior
Granville Handstitched Tote really greatly impressed me.

I know the city Granville. Christian Dior was born in Granville, Normandy. This time, the bag is named with the place. As everybody knows, Dior is known for their signature cannage quilting design. So does this new bag. It is the hand stitching of the cannage detail that makes it so interesting and impressive. The handstitched style gives the classic pattern a little twist to make it even more appealing and more luxurious. Here, it doesn’t come structured. Instead, the irregularity and 3D effect of the pattern definitely makes this even more appealing. Really a hot selling point. Of course, silver-tone hardware completes its luxurious totality, which you can find on the loops and on the hanging DIOR charms.

Besides, the shape is just slightly off tradition, it almost looks like a classic old lady frame. It has a zip along the top, and the hour-glass shape can actually be folded over, just like on other convertible bags we have these days. This gives you an option of whether carrying it as a handbag through its top handles with rings or as a shoulder bag
through its detachable strap.

Of course, all the hand-crafted detail on this bag makes it retail expensively. While, the glam and elegance absolutely make it deserved.

Bottega Veneta Luxury sterling silver

Filed under: Other Brand — admin @ 3:42 am

Alligator or crocodile versions of the highly collectable Bottega Veneta Knot Clutches might be enough to satisfty the luxury lust for some people, but for those who want something a bit more unique, the Bottega Veneta Sterling Silver Knot Clutch is just the ticket.

blog8281.jpg

The idea of a sterling silver box clutch is not exactly a new thing, but as far as I can tell, this is the first such iteration of the famous Knot. In classic Bottega Veneta style, it’s styled to look exactly like one of the brand’s intrecciato knot clutches, right down to the raised textured on some of the ‘woven’ metal strips.

I love Peekaboo

Filed under: Other Brand — admin @ 3:41 am

It is ok to tell me how absolutely absurd it is to want to spend a good amount of money on a designer felt bag. Because really, intellectually I know it is ridiculous and typically I would agree with you. But my handbag-loving-emotions are taking over and I am seriously head-over-heels in love with the Fendi Felt Peekaboo Tote.

It is made with felt. Yes, felt. As in the material my mom and I used to go buy for me to use when creating a school project. Because it is inexpensive and not exactly a luxury material. My logic has left the building. Even after seeing every covetable option Fendi created of the Peekaboo, this somehow is the version that I seriously desire.

This Gucci crossbody chain bag draws my attention

Filed under: Other Brand — admin @ 3:54 am

It seems nobody knows how long the mini crossbody trend will last, but put me on the record as hoping that this shape stays around as a wardrobe staple for years to come. Not only are minibags delightfully functional, but they’re easily modified to embody nearly any style from hippie to industrial. In this case, the mood of the Gucci 1973 Small Shoulder Bag is clear – it’s all about the retro throwback.

dsc_0407.jpg

This bag comes as no surprise to anyone that saw the looks from Gucci’s Fall 2010 runway show – I would have pegged the look as more late 60s than early 70s, but the retro shapes and color palette were omnipresent throughout the bags featured in the show. The altered Gucci logo is the touch that really completes the look.

Seven key trends for the fall of 2010

Filed under: Reality Show — admin @ 3:44 am

Although the weather is still hot, fall wear is already on the shelves. Besides the still popular minimalism, there are many a trend you can choose. Why not see the most popular trends in this season.

Nostalgic

blog8161.jpg

On the T-platform, the low collar has back, the dress is designed like a hourglass. Nina Ricci uses doublet and long skirt to make the feeling of 1950s, so do Louis Vuitton and Dolce & Gabbana. Meanwhile, the curvaceous models are very impressive.

Furs

blog8162.jpg

It seems there is no sign that the conference is environmentally friendly. The T-platform is full of furs. On the show of Fendi and Acne, furs are jointed together; on the Lanvin’s show, there are many furs too; the plush clothes of Burberry Prorsum is very luxurious. But Karl Lagerfeld is the winner.

Fresh color

blog8163.jpg

How to choose color in fall, from the head to toe. Tomas Maier use a roseate shirt to match the red leather pants; Tory Burch publishes the orange sweater and overskirt to fit his lipstick and leggings. And there are some cool color collocation, Oscar de la Renta uses the blue suit to match the pane socks; Mark Fast mixes the purple skirt and leggings.

Men’s inspiration

blog8164.jpg

There is a joke, the person entered the fashion is the one who can’t follow the the rules of wearing in company. However, it cracks a joke this season. Men’s suits and coats become the key modeling.

The rule of Golden

blog8165.jpg

One the T-platform, there is not only beige. Diane Von Furstenberg and Dries Van Noten both published golden coat; Jason Wu and Peter Som use a lot of gold foil on their skirts; Rochas and Marco Zanini tried brocade all cover; Christophe Decarnin uses the elements above on his most luxury series.

Slim

blog8166.jpg

It is time for you to put away the miniskirt and the high-heeled shoes. The designers prefer the overskirt now, the length to the central of your leg (both Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton), there are some can reach your ankle (Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren). This style is more suitable for the flattie.

Covered layer by layer

blog8167.jpg

Although the minimalism is developed rapidly, there are some disigners think the more, the better. Jenna Lyons use sequins, wool, cashmere, jean to dress her models. This style of layers has a feeling of nomadic people. Anyway, it will be a warm season.

Balenciaga print animal patent on the handbag for his 10th Birthday

Filed under: Other Brand — admin @ 4:04 am

The things on Balenciaga’s 10th Anniversary make me excited. I mentioned Lizard Embossed at Neiman Marcus the last time, the lizard embossed First version, and now an animal patent printed on Balenciaga First. And this version is by far the most ‘out there’ of the group, but it is also the one that takes the biggest chance.

blog8171.jpg

I fall in love with Balenciaga again and now I am captivated by the Balenciaga Animal Print First.

I have been taught a lesson. I have to see a Balenciaga bag in person before I make another purchase. I hope this bag is not exclusive to online shopping. It has a chance to be amazing and a chance to be a mess. I want it to be amazing. I want to buy it and wear it with jeans, heels, and a simple top. I want people to look at it and wonder when exactly Balenciaga made this bag and why. Because let’s face it, this is not a safe choice.
